To Jesus, Through Mary
To Jesus, through Mary
Welcome to Holy Family Homeschool Cooperative
We’re a family apostolate that supports Catholic families who homeschool their children, based out of the Cathedral of St. Eugene in Santa Rosa, CA.
Our mission is simple: to raise children who know, love, and follow Jesus, and to support parents as the first teachers of the faith. We’re a co-op, here to enrich family life, not add more stress or complexity.
Holy Family is a Catholic homeschool co-op in Sonoma County that focuses on faith, friendship, and simplicity, creating a warm community where families grow together in Christ through prayer, learning, and genuine connection.

Our Priorities
🙏 Jesus First – Faith leads everything. The Rosary, devotions, and parish life are at the center of our Catholic homeschool co-op.
👨👩👧 Strong Families – Parents lead as the first educators of the faith, and children flourish under Mom and Dad’s care.
🤝 Friendship – We build Catholic homeschool friendships through play, learning, and celebration.
📚 Academics – Hands-on group learning in science, art, PE, and more to enrich your homeschool.
😌 Minimal Stress – Simple, supportive, and family-friendly for busy Catholic homeschooling families.
We Support Parents Who Homeschool at Home.
Holy Family Homeschool Cooperative exists to complement, not replace, family-led education.
Our Culture
We’re a family apostolate, building up the domestic church one home at a time. Inspired by the Holy Family, we believe dads are called to lead in faith, moms are the heart of the home, and together we’re raising saints who know, love, and follow Jesus.
Family life and homeschooling can be stressful enough, our goal is to make things easier, not harder. We do everything we can to keep our co-op simple, welcoming, and joy-filled, so families can focus on what matters most: growing in faith and enjoying life together.

Rooted in the parish life of the Cathedral of St. Eugene, our community is a place where families pray, learn, and build lasting friendships, supporting one another on the journey to holiness. EMAIL us to learn more.

Weekly Schedule
The Holy Family Co-op meets twice a week from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM for faith-filled learning, friendship, and fun.
Academic Day
Focused on social studies, science, and physical education, our Academic Day blends hands-on learning with prayer and teamwork.
Fellowship Day
A relaxed morning of art, devotions, and shared activities which is perfect for families who want a day centered on faith, friendship, and play. Families are welcome to join both days or just the Fellowship Day, especially if they do online schooling, participate in other co-ops, or prefer a day rooted in socialization, prayer, and community life.
Prayer, Lunch, & Play
On both days, we pray the Angelus together, then enjoy fellowship lunch and free play. Children have access to outdoor play structures (with parent supervision) and the gym on rainy days, giving families a joyful space to connect.
Monthly Family Rosary
Once a month, our co-op gathers in the Cathedral for the Rosary and Eucharistic Adoration, uniting our families in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. See upcoming Rosary and Adoration events HERE.
The Power of the Family Rosary
We feel that the Holy Rosary is the heartbeat of our domestic church. It’s how our families draw closer to Jesus through Mary with dads leading in prayer, mothers nurturing faith, and children learning the love of Christ at their side.
The Rosary is more than a devotion; it’s the liturgy of the family, where Jesus is enthroned as King in every home. When families gather to pray, grace flows, hearts are united, and peace takes root.
“There is no surer means of calling down God’s blessings upon the family than the daily recitation of the Rosary.” - Pope Pius XII
Co-op Life
Each parent contributes according to their gifts, whether by teaching, aiding in the classroom, or supporting behind the scenes with clean up or set up. Our co-op life is faith-filled, and rooted in authentic Catholicism.
